8vo (22 x 16 cm), pp. xxvi, 590, 2 , 24 publisher's advert at rear, illustrated throughout with engraved vignettes, publisher's green blindstampted cloth, spine gilt lettered, a little rubbed on top and bottom of spine, short tear to head; a very good copy.

First edition. 8vo, engraved title, engraved explanation leaf, double page key map hand coloured in outline, 28 engraved maps hand-coloured in outline, [2] (blank), 4, 14, [2](blank) pp., contemporary half calf, marbled boards, rubbed, joints cracked but firm, an excellent copy.
