Limited edition, this copy out of series and inscribed by the artist, small 8vo (19 x 14.5 cm); illustrated with 22 phototypes of which 6 are coloured in pochoir by Saudé, with tissue guards, some pages uncut, signed in ink on the upper fly leaf, original printed thick wrappers, an excellent example.

First edition, one of 999 numbered copies, 4to (30 x 34 cm); 87pp., illustrated with 8 colour plates tipped in after Konchalovsky and numerous black and white illustrations throughout the text; original printed wrappers with typography and illustration by Sergey Chekhonin, slight staining to spine, yapp edges worn but other wise a very fresh copy.

  7. First edition, limited edition, number 365 of 390 copies on vergé, from a total edition of 430, signed 'J. Sch' (the publisher) on the justification page; 4to (31 x 24 cm); 18 full page hand-coloured pochoir plates by V. Shukhaev, with tissue guards, decorative bands and tailpieces throughout, some minor spotting; twentieth century tree calf over marbled boards, spine in parts and elaborately gilt, labels in red and green, covers slightly rubbed and corners bumped, original printed brown wrappers bound in, a fine example [with] a large original gouache of one of the plates on paper covered thick card (35 x 27.5 cm), signed and dated 1924 in the bottom right hand corner.

  8. Collection of 6 postcards of costume designs and a set of 4 from fairytales (14 x 8.5 cm); lithographed in colour by N. Kadushin, dated 1911, reverses left blank, one with minor staining, an exceptionally bright and fine set.

First edition; 8vo (22 x 18 cm); frontispiece in blue and gilt, 24 tipped-in colour plates of Bilibin's costume and set designs over black and white illustrations, photographic reproductions, school library stamp to numerous leaves, small bookseller's label to lower pastedown, annotations to flyleaf, some illustrations with added colour pencil, minor staining, wrappers worn, text block loose; later brown cloth with original printed wrappers bound in, title in gilt to upper cover, edges worn.

  10. Landscape folio (35 x 50 cm); lithographed title, engraved map hand-coloured in outline and index leaf, and 43 lithographed plates after various artists including Orlowskiy, Alexandrov and Kollman, with captions in French, a few with minor foxing, ink inscription to title-page; contemporary half calf, upper cover with trimmed upper wrapper laid down, dust-jacket and slipcase.
