Engraved frontispiece (soft crease, old tear repaired), title within double-ruled border with large woodcut crown above the imprint, text within ruled border with marginal column for side-notes, engraved plate of armorials by John Goddard, folding map of Palestine, 26 double-folding maps and plates, most signed by Thomas Cross, John Goddard, William Marshall, and Robert Vaughan. ýeighteenth century polished calf, covers bordered in blind, rebacked, tan morocco lettering piece, new endpapers, all edges gilt, large general map with tear repaired and some reinforcement to verso, page 235/36 with blank outer corner repaired, page 241 and 245 with small marginal repairs marginal restoration to plate at page 262, small marginal repairs to plate at page 288, wormtrack to margin of plate page 442 repaired,plate at page 18 part II laid down, plate page 72 part II with restoration to upper margin, tear to page 77 part II repaired with no loss of text but loss to page number, a very good copy.

  3. First edition. 8vo, 78 pp., large folding map, 15 photographic plates, original red cloth lettered in gilt to upper cover, light fade to spine, a very good copy.

  4. Second edition, revised. 2 volumes, 8vo, xxx, 356; xvi, 347 pp., 9 lithographed plates, occasional light foxing, contemporary polished calf gilt, spine in six compartments, red and green morocco labels to second and third, others richly gilt, marbled edges, a fine set.

  5. First edition, first impression, first issue binding; presentation copy inscribed by the author. 8vo; 2pp. advertisements, photographic frontispiece and 15 full-page illustrations. Publisher's blue cloth, titles to spine gilt. Boards lightly marked, spine just a touch faded and slightly rolled. Very good indeed.

  6. 6 volumes bound in 3; 4to (29.5 x 21 cm); 250 lithographed plates including pictorial titles, tissues, all plates captioned, foxing to titles and some light spotting throughout; text block detached from spine in vol.II, a.e.g.; contemporary publisher's blue cloth, richly gilt borders and arms of the city of Jerusalem to centre of boards, spines gilt in compartments, a little faded and worn, a good set.

  7. Ten parts, landscape elephant folio (39.4 x 51.7 cm), text in German and French, 60 hand-coloured lithographed plates, hand-coloured lithographed pictorial title and dedication page; hand-coloured pictorial wrappers, occasional light spotting.

  8. First edition, 8vo, 6 lithographed plates (incl. folding frontispiece & 4 double-page), 2 wood-engravings in text, original grey cloth gilt, decorated in blind with gilt roundel to upper cover, light foxing to plates, generally clean and fresh, binding fine. xxiii, [5], 480 pp.

  9. First edition, folio, (447 x 315 mm); half-title, 125 Blanquart-Evrard process prints, printed tissue guards, 3 engraved plans (one double-page), contemporary half morocco gilt, rebacked preserving spine, lightly rubbed, all edges gilt.

  10. First edition, 4to, xvi, 670 pp., folding map (lightly foxed), 28 vignettes, offsetting from map to title as usual, contemporary half calf, marbled boards, neat repairs to joints, lightly rubbed, an excellent copy.
