Landscape folio (33.5 x 25 cm); hand-coloured lithographed title-page, 36 hand-coloured lithographed plates, all captioned and numbered, paper slightly browned not affecting the plates, some slight staining on the verso, again not affecting the plates; contemporary morocco backed printed pictorial brown boards; overall a very good copy.

First edition. 8vo, viii, 245 pp., 6 engraved plates, of which 2 folding, modern French red crushed morocco in Jansenist style, raised bands, lettered in gilt with small monogram to foot of spine, broad gilt inner dentelles, all edges gilt, an excellent example.
