First edition of this translation, first impression; 8vo; publisher's yellow cloth, design after Beardsley to upper board and spine in black, titles to spine gilt, bookplate removed from front free endpaper leaving light residue, a trifle rubbed, spine gently rolled ad a little faded. Very good indeed.

  2. 8vo (17 x 11.5 cm); 132 pp., with errata slip bound in at end; original maroon cloth, gilt lettering to upper cover; very slightly rubbed at the spine extremities and corners, a very good copy.

Sch' on the limitation page, foreword by Gide, illustrations in colour by Shukhaev including 7 plates hors-texte, with two additional suites of 19 illustrations each, loose in a separate portfolio, one in colour on japon and one in black on chine, with tissue guards, a.e.g.; 20th century fine binding by Hélène Cauchetier, full green morocco with original wrappers bound in, upper cover with playing card motif inlay design of various colours, doublures with green patterned paper guards, green marbled endpapers, chemise and slipcase, extra suites in a corresponding chemise, an excellent example.

  5. First complete edition in Russian; 8vo; 200pp.; publisher's printed wrappers, some wear to wrappers but internally fresh, housed in a black box.

  6. Number 70 of 750 copies; 8vo; printed in red & black, colour illustrations by Paul Nash, some toning to endpapers; original red morocco, upper covers with onlays in black, red & cream designed by Paul Nash, spine a touch faded.

  7. First edition; large 4to (31.5 x 23 cm); 48 chromolithographs (including one frontispiece) and 105 in text illustrations after A. Zhaba, red edges, white moiré endpapers, slight staining to margins; original pictorial cloth binding with gilt detail, dog design to lower cover, spine with gilt title and peacock and spider design, upper cover a little faded and minor staining to spine, edges bumped, overall a very good copy.

  8. First edition; 4to (27.5 x 23.5 cm); text and music by Kuzmin, four phototype plates printed on strong wove paper, and four full-page illustrations, by N. Feofilaktov and S. Sudeikin, Сyrillic ownership inscription 'A. Artsikhovskiy' in pink ink to upper flyleaf; decorative coloured silk boards, silk frayed at spine and edges;

  9. First edition, one of 500 copies, of which 100 were hors commerce; small 8vo (190 x 102 mm); some pages uncut, internally fresh; in the original printed wrappers, lower wrapper discoloured, spine partially split but still holding, an excellent example without any restoration, housed in a modern blue cloth box with black labels.

  10. First edition; small 8vo (20.5 x 14.5); 259pp., iii, ink ownership inscription to upper flyleaf, slight age toning but very fresh internally; original grey wrappers printed in blue and red, spine toned, some slight wear but otherwise an excellent copy.
