Limited gift edition, printed hors-commerce, this one of a few bound in red morocco for members of the Imperial family; 3 works in 5 vols, 8vo (22 x 15 cm); the first volume of each work bears a presentation inscription in ink by the author to Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich and dated 1884, all the half-titles, white silk guards and endpapers, library label with shelf number and the Grand Duke's monogram to the upper pastedown of each volume, red pencil number shelf numbers in each volume to endpaper or flyleaf, a.e.g.; contemporary red morocco, covers gilt ruled, inner dentells, spines with raised bands and elaborate gilt tooling, edges worn, corners bumped, wear to head of spine of vol.I of Oblomov, a very good set.
