First edition of the Prefaces; 8vo (23.5 x 16.5 cm); bookplate to front pastedown of both vols, The Prefaces with minor spotting to half-title and woodcut title-page, otherwise internally clean; green half morocco and cloth board by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, covers ruled in gilt, gilt spine with raised bands, all edges gilt, spine slightly discoloured, the Prefaces with chip to spine head (2 cm), minor scuffing and covers with areas of colour loss; viii, 1404; viii, 802pp.

First edition, number 9 of 100 specially bound copies, from an overall limitation of 750; folio (310 x 190 mm.); printed in dark green throughout, wood-engraved frontispiece, title vignette, 6 chapter headings and device, all by John Buckland-Wright, one full-page map of the east coast of Australia; full green morocco, gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, top edge gilt, others uncut, spine very slightly lightened, but otherwise an excellent copy; housed in original cloth slip-case, lightly marked.

First edition, one of 500 deluxe copies signed by the publisher and with an additional etching bound before half-title; 4to; additional etching, portrait frontispiece, colour plates, captioned tissue-guards, illustrations, scattered faint spotting; bound in full decorative green crushed morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, small patch of discolouration to lower fore-corner of upper cover, but overall fine.

Edition limited to 50 copies, 67pp., entry headings in red, contemporary blue half morocco gilt by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, top edge gilt, a fine copy.
