Haid, each with captions, minor spotting to margin of plate XXXIII, touching on image; [ii](title), [iv], 56, [2](index)pp.; contemporary mottled calf, boards with rolled gilt borders, spine gilt in seven compartments, with morocco label lettered in gilt, cobalt blue endpapers, spine a little rubbed, wear to edges and extremities, covers with a little damage, bound without the 10 divisional titles, a very good copy with plates clean and fresh.

First edition; folio (56 x 42 cm), lithographed portrait frontispiece on india paper mounted, 2 lithographed titles incorporating dedications, 2 letterpress dedication leaves, list of subscribers, 54 lithographed plates, on india paper mounted, contemporary tan half morocco gilt over cloth boards, gilt lettered to upper cover, rather worn, scattered light foxing to preliminaries and plate margins.

First edition, 8vo (16 x 13 cm), 20 chromolithographed plates including frontispiece; marbled endpapers, bound in full contemporary calf gilt, spine lavishly gilt decorated and lettered, red morocco label, raised bands; xvi, 359 pp, some very minor spotting to endpapers,very minor scratch to label; else a very good copy.

Folio (45.7 x30.5 cm). Hand-coloured engraved title with vignette engraved by I. Bugreev, title, dedication page, VIII, 80 pp and 51 engraved plates by Karl Friedrich Knappe, coloured by hand and numbered in the plate. Contemporary mottled calf, gilt border and doule-headed eagle to covers, spine with raised bands gilt in compartments, contrasting morocco labels gilt-lettered to two, marbled endpapers, blue edges; slightly rubbed.
