T.L.s., single page, printed letterhead with facsimili signature at the bottom and typed '1944', additionally signed by Montgomery in red ink at the top and the day and year '5-6-' additionally added to the year; two original, mild horizontal fold creases, slight tape residue to left-hand margin, minor dust-soiling, otherwise remarkably well preserved; letter 290 x 218 mm; framed and mounted by a previous owner 400 x 320 mm

  4. First edition, first impression; 8vo; small ownership inscription to front free endpaper; publisher's grey and navy speckled cloth, spine in dark blue, blue topstain, with the dust jacket. A very good copy in the nicked and very slightly chipped, internally strengthened dust jacket with the typical faded to the red printing at the spine.

  5. First edition, first printing; 8vo; 4 plates by Heman Fay, Jr.; original blue cloth titled in red, an excellent, sharp copy, in the original pictorial dust-jacket, in remarkable condition.

  6. First edition, 4to., number 413 of 750 copies signed by the author, decorations by the author, some foxing, original cloth, dust-jacket designed by Wyndham Lewis, lacking whole of title section on spine and top-edge of lower panel, but upper panel and inner flaps intact and unmolested.

  7. Small folio, vol. I signed and dated by Wyndham Lewis on the title-page, plates including colour, advertisements, original pictorial wrappers featuring designs by Wyndham Lewis, vol.I wrappers worn and chipped at edges with superficial loss to paper at spine, vol.III some spotting and minor rubbing.

  8. First edition, one of 250 copies, signed presentation copy from the author to the actor Ralph Richardson and his wife; 8vo; bookplates; publisher's green cloth, dust-jacket, partially browned around spine and top edge, some rubbing and other marking.

  9. First edition in English, number 15 of 100 specially bound copies signed by the author; 8vo; publisher's vellum-backed cloth, gilt, gilt edges, small dink to upper cover, toning to spine, otherwise very good, in publisher's matching cloth slip-case.

  10. 4 volumes, first editions, all signed presentation copies from the author, 8vo., photographic plates, publisher's boards, dust-jackets, first vol. neatly price-clipped but overall fine copies.
