  1. First edition; landscape folio (33.5 x 48.5 cm); illustrated tilte-page, dedication, preface, 2 letterpress tables, a 'Profiles of the Skulls' plate printed in two colours, a chromolithographic map, 31 photogravures, with additional pamphlet by the author with blue wrappers, in excellent conidion; unbound as issued within original green cloth portfolio, upper cover blocked in gilt with titling in Russian, white-watered silk lining, cover slightly rubbed.

  2. First edition; 8vo (21.7 x 14.2 cm); illustrated wrappers designed by Zamirailo, internally very fresh, repairs to edge of upper cover, small tear to upper cover, small water stains to upper and lower covers, booksellers' stamp and ink inscription to lower cover, a good copy; 112 pp.

  3. Limited edition, one of 775 copies on velin rives; 4to, translated by A. Baranoff ; with 26 lithographic illustrations after Zworykine, of which 15 are full-page; original printed wrappers bound in later half red morocco, spine in five parts with gilt detail and floral inlays, top edge gilt a fine copy.

  4. First edition; 8vo (21 x 13 cm). pp. 136, including title; scattered spotting; contemporary russian sprinkled half calf, rebacked preserving original spine, red morocco label; extremities rubbed.

  5. Oblong 4to (25 x 33 cm). 35 lithographed plates including one folding, three in sepia, three coloured, all captioned and some with text in Cyrillic; upper corner frayed at beginning. Original printed wrappers; soiled and frayed, with small losses, backstrip defective.

  6. First edition; small 8vo (19 x 14 cm); 44, [4](ads)pp.; illustrations by Klutsis and Kliun, original wrappers in black and red by Nagorskaia, some slight loss to front and back covers, small contemporary Russian bookseller stamps to back cover, age-toning to margins, otherwise a very goof copy; in modern cloth backed patterned sleeve.

  7. Folio (56.2 x 44 cm). 34 engraved views by many engravers after various artists, including 12 of the cities in European Russia and 22 of Siberia, on 22 leaves, with captions in Russian and French, printed on Dutch handmade paper watermarked C & I Honig IV, one engraving signed in the plate by N.Ya. Sablin; the first view (Zilantov monastery) cut and pasted at the time of binding on paper watermarked 'Whatman 1818', views of Kokshaysk and Astrakhan conjoined. Early 19th-century half calf over marbled boards, gilt rules, spine with raised bands, gilt lettering in second compartments, gilt decorative elements in others; joints restored.

  8. Octavo (22.5 x 16 cm). Title, 712, viii pp., multiple illustrations in text; ink stamps to title, pp. 5 and viii. Contemporary brown half calf over marbled boards, brown calf label with gilt lettering to spine.

  9. Octavo (27.3 x 18 cm), 244 pp., ill. publishers wrappers, uncut and unopened; light marginal waterstain to wrappers, marginal tears. Copy №232 from the edition of 850.

  10. Handbill (22.6 x 15.5 cm), printed in blue on gilt-edged card, imperial eagle embossed in gilt, mounted on board.
