2 volumes. 4to (305 x 245 mm); each with hand-coloured engraved frontispiece (1 of dogs), engraved title vignettes and 24 engraved plates (23 of dogs) by John Scott after Reinagle and 23 woodcut vingettes, light spotting and soiling to margins of plates, small stain to lower, inside corners of frontispiece and title in vol. I, upper hinge cracked at frontis' in vol. II but holding; contemporary full calf, gilt panelled and blind embossed boards, reabacked preserving original spines, rubbed and scuffed, corners worn but in all a very good set with original hand-colouring.
