Sentimental Journey, Winter Journey consists of two parts, starting with a selection from Sentimental Journey (1971), photographs Araki took on honeymoon with his wife, Yoko. These photographs include moments between hospital visits and end with Yoko's funeral. Araki and Yoko's cat Chiro features prominently, and the final four photographs, taken on the day of the funeral, show Chiro in their apartment, staring out of the window and jumping outside in the snow.
