First edition, first printing, inscribed by the author to title-page; small 4to; numerous plates and illustrations within the text, slight age-toning, otherwise near-fine; publisher's quarter purple clot over paper-covered boards, amusingly illustrated dust-jacket, rubbed and creased edges, more so to rear panel, otherwise good.
