First edition, first impression; 8vo; light spotting to prelims and endpapers, contemporary gift inscription to front free endpaper, Girton College Christian Union membership form loosely inserted; publisher's grey boards, dark blue lettering to spine, with the unclipped first issue dust-jacket priced 2/6 net, slight crease to lower edge, spine slightly darkened, one or two minor marks to panels, else very good.
