Murray writes that he 'has also derived considerable benefit from a German translation of the handbooks executed by Mr Baedeker, an intelligent bookseller of Coblenz'.
Endpapers dated 'August 1845'.
Fifth edition. 8vo, xxxviii, [6 (tables)], 574, 24 (advertisements, partially unopened) pp., with linen-backed folding map; publisher's red cloth gilt, a little faded with a few small marks, otherwise a very good copy.
