First edition of a rare work by a student of Maykovsky. Kirsanov (1906 - 1972) was a prominent figure in the Jewish literary scene of Odessa at the beginning of the 20th century and later a celebrated Soviet war correspondent.

First edition, small 8vo (17.5 x 12.5 cm); ink ownership inscription to title-page, sticker to verso of upper wrapper; original printed wrappers with futurist design, some repairs to spine.
