An attractive lifetime edition in contemporary binding of Goncharov's works published by Glazunov. This edition, published before he died in 1891, includes three of the best known novels - Oblomov, The Precipice and Frigate Pallada as well his own recollections.

Lifetime edition, 9 vols, 8vo; frontispiece portrait to vol. 6, bookbinder's leather label to upper pastedown of each volume, 'Tipografiia perepl. lineroval. Gnivkovskago i Griuntal', Narva'; contemporary maroon quarter leather, spine gilt ruled, some minor wear and damage to top of spines otherwise a very good set.
