First collected edition; 8vo (19.5 x 13.5 cm); 12 page advertisement to rear, occasional smudge, mark or spot throughout, all minor and none affecting legibility of text, very small tear to top edge of p.345 and p999 and lower edge of p.413 (approx. 1-2 cm), tear to lower edge of p.823 (approx. 4 cm), otherwise a bright, very good copy; later half burgundy morocco over marble boards lined in gilt, spine in 6 compartments with gilt lettering to second and third, gilt decoration to others, marble endpapers, top edge red, minor signs of general wear, mainly to extremities, else very good; [xii], 1336pp, [xii].
