First Dulac edition, number 239 of 750 copies, signed and numbered by Dulac; 4to (317 x 260 mm); Poe's portrait on title-page, 28 tipped in colour plates with captioned tissue-guards, 10 black ink head pieces on tan ground; publisher's decorative vellum gilt, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, free endpapers browned and usual slight age-toning and off-setting, very slight bowing to upper board, new silk ties, otherwise a near- fine copy.
