A lovely copy of this survey of Worcester porcelain from its inception in 1751 by Dr John Wall (1708–1776) through to 1910. Robert Lockhart Hobson (1872-1941) was keeper of the Department of Ceramics and Ethnography at the British Museum and became an authority on Far Eastern ceramics.

First edition; 4to (36 x 28 cm); 17 chromolithograph plates including frontispiece and 92 collotype plates, each with tissue guards; publisher's cloth, gilt lettering to upper board and spine, a little rubbing and fading, still a very good copy; xi, 208pp.
