8vo (22.5 x 15 cm); illustrated with maps, including folding, gift inscription in pen to front free endpaper, minor spotting to endpapers; contemporary tree calf by Samuel Tout, covers with double gilt fillet borders, gilt spine in 6 compartments, contrasting brown and green morocco lettering-pieces, marbled edges, small area of abrasion with loss to foot of upper cover, otherwise very good plus; xxviii, 447, [1]pp.
