First edition, issue 'c'; 8vo (19.5 x 14 cm); 32pp publisher's ads to rear, occasional corner fold marks, offsetting to endpapers, the odd mark, front hinge starting to split; publisher's dark grey cloth, spine and upper cover gilt-lettered with gilt life buoy design to upper cover, blindstamp to lower cover, fore-edge uncut, a few ff of ads unopened, minor wear to extremities, corners very faintly bumped, very good, housed within a green morocco backed cloth slipcase, spine lettered in gilt, slightly rubbed; 6, 259, [1], [32 ads]pp.
