Endpapers dated January 1869.Second edition. lxviii, 324pp, 3 maps and 8 plans, front map with large tear (no loss of image), some spotting and browning throughout; publisher's old type red cloth gilt, some slight wear to the corners, small mark on upper cover; otherwise a very good copy.
