Third revised edition. ccxvi, 293 pp, 14 maps, 33 plans, 6 (of 7 views) ( lacks views of Sakkara pyramid on p.165), and 76 vignettes, previous owner's notes on a few pages, ink inscriptons on front free endpaper, front map with small tears; publisher's red cloth gilt, slightly worn in parts; a good copy.
