Gordon Parks (1912-2006) was an American photographer, musician, writer and film director, who became prominent as a photojournalist in the 1940s through 1970s, particularly on issues of civil rights, poverty and African-Americans, but he also won renown for his glamour photography.

First edition, first printing; signed presentation copy from the artist; 4to (305 x 240 mm.); photographic portraits throughout; publisher's blue cloth, mild sunning to extreme top-edge, dust-jacket, small bar of fading to top edge of upper panel, otherwise very good.
