George Bosanquet (1791-1866) was the eldest son of Jacob Bosanquet (1755-1828) who served as Chairman of the East India Company on three occasions in 1798, 1803 and 1811.
First edition; 8vo, (21.5 x 14 cm); hand-coloured folding map, engraved plate, armorial bookplate to pastedown; contemporary calf, spine in six gilt-ruled compartments with gilt morocco lettering piece, upper joint professionally restored, a very good copy; vii, 272, 12 pp.
