Wilkins shared the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine with Francis Crick and James Watson for the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA. Published when he was 86 years old, the autobiography gives his account of the story, as well as addressing his strained professional relationship with Rosalind Franklin.
