A bright example of the third of the Christopher Robin books, comprising a delighful collection of rhymes and verses, some of which, such as 'Us Two' and 'The Friend' feature Winnie-The-Pooh. The final one, 'The End', has the now famous final couplet;

'But now I am Six, I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.'

First edition, deluxe issue; 8vo (187 x 130 mm), illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard, pictorial endpapers, browning to half-title and verso of final leaf with printer's colophon (as often), otherwise near-fine; publisher's red calf, pictorial endpapers, red silk ribbon-marker loose, all edges gilt, a little rubbing to extremities, more so to head of spine, otherwise very good and bright; [xii], 103pp.
