8vo (18.5 x 13 cm); ownership inscription to front free endpaper verso, very fine internal condition; full tree calf, gilt rolls to borders and edges, gilt insignia to centrepiece reading 'Doctrina et Veritas' on both covers, spine elaborately decorated in gilt in 6 compartments, spine lettered in gilt against brown morocco panelling, marbled edges and endpapers, corners slightly bumped, a very handsome copy; iv, 970 pp.
