First edition, first impression, signed by the author, with James Stern's ownership signature; 8vo; publisher's navy blue cloth, titles to spine gilt, spine slightly browned, with the unclipped pictorial dustjacket by Philip Gough, spine panel slightly tanned with a little frayiing to tips, extremities slightly rubbed; very good.
