Sons of Sinbad provides an account of an epic journey on a dhow out of Kuwait. The author boards the vessel in Aden and his narrative recounts the voyage from Aden, along the southern coast of Saudi Arabia, thence down to Mombasa, before the return leg to Kuwait, via Omn, the Straits of Hormuz, along the Arabian Gulf including the pearl fisheries of Bahrain, before arriving back at Kuwait. The author's photographs provide a fine record of the region at that time.

First edition; 8vo (23.5 x 17 cm); illustrated throughout from photographs by the author; original red cloth, original pictorial dust-wrapper, small defects at head and foot of spine, a very good copy; xv, 429 pp.
