Limited edition, signed by the artist. An impressive catalogue raisonné of the drawings by Willem de Kooning, a pioneering figure in the Abstract Expressionist movement, ranging from drawings utilising his abstract 'action painting' style through to female portraits and landscape studies.

First edition, number 52 of 100 copies from an overall limitation of 150 signed by De Kooning; 4to (325 x 238 mm.); plain full-page reproductions and tipped-in colour reproductions, internally fine; publisher's mustard yellow cloth, slight spotting around spine, in matching yellow slip-case, a very good copy.
