First edition, first impression, inscribed by the author with ALS loosely inserted; 8vo; minor spotting to front free endpaper, else unmarked internally; publisher's tan cloth, red lettering to spine and upper cover, with the unclipped dustjacket, slightly rubbed and soiled, one or two short closed tears, traces of internal repair, else very good.
