First Trade edition, thick 8vo (200 x 155 mm), pictorial frontispiece and 10 further plates, numerous vignettes within the text, some minor spotting, mostly to preliminary and terminal pages, toning to extreme edges of some plates, not affecting the illustrations, else very good; modern half morocco, gilt cricketing devices to spine, in excellent order; xiii, [2], frontispiece, 429, [1] pp, 2 pages of advertisements.
