First US edition, first impression, first state; 8vo (19 x 13 cm); slight toning to leaves, light soiling to prelims; publisher's green cloth, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, light wear to extremities, top edge gilt, some light spotting to publisher's ads and rear endpapers, otherwise a very good example.

3 vols, 8vo, title pages printed in red and black, original blue cloth gilt, art nouveau design to spines, top edges gilt, a very good set.

Holmes, one dated '1895', small bookseller label to the foot of the front paste-downs of Sense And Sensibility volume 1, Pride And Prejudice volume 1, Mansfield Park volume 1, Emma volume 1, & Persuasion, some light toning, the odd, random spot, more prevalent to frontispiece of Northanger Abbey`, otherwise, near-fine; publisher's gilt-decorated cloth, some of the boards are lightly toned with minor marks, spines are lightly rubbed to head & foot but generally, sound and in very good order.

First editions; 20 vols in 4, 8vo; etched frontispiece to each of the 20 titles by Jules-Armand Hanriot, vignette to each title page (some in colour), tinted pictorial headpieces, decorative tailpieces and initials, a touch of foxing to endpapers, light toning to leaves; contemporary half red morocco, original lithograph wrappers bound in, top edge gilt, others uncut, light wear to extremities, overall a pleasing set.

First edition; small 4to (18.7 x 14 cm); cancel title a variant of the fifth state (Lowndes' and Grolier's seventh) with 'Angel' in the imprint in Roman type (this copy with commas after 'Helder' and 'Angel', and 'Little Brittain' hyphenated), A2r with 'The Printer to the Reader' text with 3-line variant, title and text within ruled border, woodcut headpieces and initials opening each book, occasional neat repairs to margins, light wear to lower edge of Ff2, some minor soiling to margins, partly washed; later full brown morocco, gilt lettering to spine, inner dentelles gilt, all edges gilt, overall a very good copy; collation: A4 (without blank A1 after cancel title), a4, Aa-Tt4, Vv2.

First edition, first printing, one of 500 copies; 8vo (111 x 175 mm); half-title, title-page printed in red and black, small closed tear to half-title, faded ownership name to p. 1**, generally toned but very good; publisher's quarter parchment, over paper boards, printed spine label (the first state with 'Shropshire' measuring 33 mm.), loss to both ends of label and very darkened, 'Shropshire Lad by A.E. Hous' still extant, edges uncut, dust-soiled and worn, more so to corners but still very sound, unrestored and attractive; preserved in a later cloth-covered slip-case.
