Edition de luxe, number 31 of 50 copies; 12 vols; chromolithograph titles in black, red and gold, 71 photogravures after Albert Letchford and 21 etchings by Lalauze, each in 2 states (printed on Japan and India proof paper, with printed tissue guards), partially unopened, a few leaves loose in volumes 1, 2, 3, 11 and 12; contemporary full red morocco gilt, t.e.g., held in the original custom-made mahogany cabinet with glazed and pierced metal front, lacks key.
