First edition, first issue, with misprints '13' on contents page and 'w shed' on p56; 8vo; frontispiece by Charles Kerr, without publisher's catalogue at end, bookplate to front pastedown, embossed bookseller's stamp to front free endpaper, one or two very light spots, else unmarked internally; original first issue cloth with 'Spencer Blackett's Standard Library' to foot of spine, cloth a little darkened, slight bumping and creasing to spine ends and corners, one or two light marks to covers, but a very good bright copy overall.
