Extends from Hertford to Dorking and from Beaconsfield to Chelmsford. Shows the railway to Walthamstow (1870) extending south to Dalston (1872) but not north to Chingford (1873). Also shows the Great Northern Railway's Barnet branch (1872).

Hand coloured linen-backed map folding into dark blue slip case. Dimensions: 49 x 40.25 inches, scale one inch to 1 mile. Publisher's label on cover. Slip case worn along edges, but overall in very good condition.
