First edition thus, third printing; 8vo (200 x 130 mm); 25 illustrations, including frontispiece by Brock; near-contemporary ink ownership to half-title, March 1908, very mild age-toning to text leaves, two minor spots to margins of p. 119, otherwise internally near-fine; publisher's light green cloth, a sumptuous decorative gilt block to upper cover and spine, decorative endpapers, the usual offsetting browning to the fly-leaves, spine-ends bumped and frayed, spine darkened, otherwise still very good.
