An unusual guide printed in the USA published between the two World Wars. Intourist (the Soviet State Travel Bureau), a nationwide network running tourist travel throughout the U.S.S.R, was very keen to promote travel and tourism in the U.S.S.R. Includes a section on the Caucasus and Turkestan. Scarce.

Landscape 4to ( 22 x 20 cm), [28pp), numerous illustrations in text, some in colour; all bound in publisher's pictorial wrappers, stapled, slightly worn and rubbed, spine with small holes; otherwise a good copy.
