With the large map. Vigne travelled extensively in Northern India in the years 1834 to 1838. Although a private traveller, he mapped the country through which he travelled, and also collected details on the shawl wool trade of Tibet. A valuable view of Northern and Western India immediately before the establishment of British supremacy.
