Rex whistler dust jacket. A delightful copy of this first edition, in the splendid Rex Whistler dust-jacket. Rex Whistler (1905-1944) was one of the most intriguing artists of the interwar years, with work encompassing all areas of art and design, from set design for opera, ballet, and theatre.

First edition; 8vo; publisher's red & black cloth, dust-jacket with wraparound artwork by Rex Whistler, a little chipped at corners and spine ends, with small chip from foot of upper panel, but overall a very good example.
