First edition, first impression; 8vo; light spotting to endpapers, else unmarked internally; publisher's yellow cloth, blue lettering to spine, red topstain, cloth slightly marked, spine slightly darkened, with the unclipped first issue pictorial dustjacket by Rex Whistler (priced 7s.6d.), light soiling, some edge-wear with loss to spine ends, spine browned; overall very good.
