Number 4 of 60 specially bound copies, with a duplicate set of the plates, from an overall edition limited to 360 copies, signed by the author and artist; tall quarto (320 x 200 mm); title printed in pink and green with vignette and decorative border, 7 collotype plates after aquatints by John Buckland-Wright, 9 additional aquatint plates loose in pocket at end (title and 8 plates, including the extra unused plate referred to on the colophon); publisher's grey and salmon morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, upper cover with fighting cock design by Buckland-Wright blocked in gilt, spine gilt lettered and with cockerel motifs, top edge gilt, slight abrasions to 2 raised bands and a small, faint mark to the upper board, blue cloth slipcase (slightly rubbed), otherwise near-fine copy.
