First edition, second issue; 8vo (19.5 x 13.5 cm); with misprints '13' on contents page corrected and 'w shed' on p56 still present, frontispiece by Charles Kerr, some small spots or marks throughout (as usual with age), none affecting text, crease to pp39-42, else good condition; mid-twentieth century rebinding, full red morocco with one-line gilt-panelled back, spine in 6 compartments with red morocco lettering piece to second and fourth with gilt lettering, gilt dentelles, marble endpapers, upper hinge cracked but holding, corners slightly bumped, spine a little scuffed, some general signs of wear, mainly to extremities, otherwise good; (iv), 283pp, (1)pp.
