First Detmold edition, 4to (265 x 210 mm); 23 tipped-in colour plates with titled tissue-guards, age toning to text leaves (as usual), small closed nick to edge of upper tissue-guard, creasing to one corner of the same, corner crease and lower corner clipped (?printing error) to tissue guard opposite p. 56, small closed nicks to edge of tissue-guards opposite pp 64 & 96, mild browning and spotting to preliminary and terminal leaves, not affecting plates, which are fine; later half-tan morocco over corresponding cloth, spine and top edge gilt, a very good and attractive copy in all; xvi, 152pp
