This beautiful and vibrant botanical lithograph is after a drawing by Charlotte Caroline Sowerby and Augusta Innes Wither and these illustrations were issued in instalments by the Hendersons.

Edward George Henderson (1783-1876) and his son Andrew (1823-1906) owned several famous nurseries at Vine Place, Edgware Road, the Wellington Road Nurseries and Pineapple Place in London.
