Enrico Caruso (1873-1921) the most admired Italian operatic tenor of the early 20th century and one of the first musicians to document his voice on gramophone recordings.

Caruso seated with right hand holding cigarette and leaning on cane, signed boldly and diagonally upwards, 85 x 140mm (3 1/4 x 5 1/2 ins), mounted, 240 x 1295 mm (9 1/2 x 11 1/2 ins), near-fine.
