This copy has the first state binding, with "54" after Wright's facsimile signature on the front cover and the first issue dust-jacket with the price of $6.50First edition, first state. 4to, photographic portrait frontispiece, several photographic illustrations to the text, signed by the author on the frontispiece a letter written by a Robert Hutt asking for Frank Lloyd Wright works inserted loose; original grey buckram, spine and front cover lettered in black and red, author's facsimile initials to front cover in black on red ground; original black and red dust-jacket, a little worn and chipped at edges; overall a very good copy; 223pp.
