4to (30.5 x 25 cm); front free endpaper watermarked 'Fellows & Sons 1821'; contemporary straight-grained red morocco, panelled in blind within outer gilt-roll border, gilt spine in 5 compartments of alternating saltires and lettering, all edges gilt, gauffered saltire edges, damp-staining to upper cover top-left margin, a little soiled and marked, corners slightly bumped, occasional slight spotting, very good.
